James Logan Howlet: The Wolverine

This is the final result of learning how to draw Wolverine. It all started after I watched Deadpool and Wolverine. Wolverine was one of the first super heroes I liked, so I really wanted to do the character justice if I was going to draw him. Thus the quest to draw the legendary hero began! I decided to also use this as a way to lean more into a comic book style of art. Using the white of the paper for edge highlights, solid black shading, varying line weights etcetera. It was a very fruitful exercise and has since influenced my style.
